I have worked with Apologia Homeschool Ministries to produce Exploring Creation, a line of immersion science texts utilizing Charlotte Mason’s proven methods for teaching your little ones about God’s creation.
What separates people from apes? How can a Great Dane be related to a Chihuahua? Is there evidence that people and dinosaurs lived at the same time? What should you do if you encounter a bear? How can you tell if a snake is poisonous? Come find out answers to these questions and many, many more with Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Zoology 3! This third book in the zoology series takes students on a safari through jungles, deserts, forests, farms, and even their own backyard to explore, examine and enjoy the enchanting creatures God designed to inhabit the terrain. Families will snuggle together and discover the amazing animals from primates to parasites, kangaroos to caimans, and turtles to terrifying T-Rexs— this safari doesn’t end there! Students will also keep a record of where each animal is found on a map and learn to identify animal tracks.
As with all the Apologia elementary books, students will continue the practice of narration, keeping a notebook of what they have learned, and enjoy many hands on projects and experiments throughout the course.
This CD contains a complete audio recording of the course Exploring Creation with Zoology 3: Land Animals of the Sixth Day as read by Jeannie Fulbright. This is the perfect accompaniment to the book for students who are auditory learners, slow readers, or have other learning disabilities that make reading difficult. Please note that this is not a standard CD. It is an MP3 CD. This means that in order to listen to this CD, you must play it in an MP3-compatible CD player or on a computer.
The activities in this notebooking journal provide everything your child needs to complete the assignments in Exploring Creation with Zoology 3: Land Creatures of the Sixth Day. In addition to a suggested lesson schedule, it serves as your child’s individual notebook and provides a place for them to complete every assignment, record their experiments, and display their work.
Designed for your younger junior zoologist, this notebooking journal is a perfect complement to the assignments in Exploring Creation with Zoology 3. Age appropriate activities for your child include coloring pages, easy and fun science experiments, full-color mini-books, easier vocabulary exercises, and supplementary materials.
Newest in the Young Explorer series of products is the Junior Zoology 3 Notebooking Journal. This notebooking journal is much like the original Zoology 3 Notebooking Journal, but is designed for younger students or those with limited writing skills. All the lines are primary writing lines (a dashed line between two solid lines), and there are far fewer than in the original journal.
