Oh my. Thank you so much for this post! The scripture alone gave much to think on. We need a miracle to actually acomplish this. The part that sticks out to me is “…so…you will be children of God…” I always think to John 1:12,13 –
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

But, beyond believing in God, we need to keep a right heart to really become children of God. And be willing to contend for purity by seeking a closer relationship with Him and doing what the Bible has said to do.

Thank you so much for challenging me today to keep my mind focused on God’s word.

What a great post. We all struggle with this around our home too. The reality is, we really have no idea what real struggle and/or suffering is. It is a heart/attitude issue, isn’t it?

(who really hopes you are still considering coming to Kelowna, British Columbia to speak at the Homeschool conference there.I had read in your blog a while back that you were considering it. Just wondering if you ended up making a decision on it?)
