This was so timely for me. My husband and I are at a crossroads. We are praying a lot, but sometimes we do not release the worry. Thinking of it this way sure brings it all into perspective…God’s perspective.

    Blessings, Jennifer

    AMEN!
I think it is so great of God to give us the tool of prayer to partner WITH Him, and give us a way to release our fears, worry, anxiety, concern, through prayer. Then to leave it with Him and have our faith increased as we see Him work.

    Thanks.

Dear Jeannie, I just wanted to let you know how much I have been encouraged my your “Encouraging Articles.” You recent blog on prayer speaks volumes to me as well. In fact, I have been reading one of your “Encouraging Articles” each day as a devotion. I told my husband, “I think this woman is reading my mind.” I have struggled mentally in many of the areas you have addressed (i.e. feeling overwhelmed, afraid that I’m not doing enough with homeschooling, etc.) Please keep blogging and encouraging! Proverbs 31:26-“She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”

Wow! This really encouraged me today. Thank you!

Another thing is when someone has a prayer request. Before I would pray for that person or the situation, I align it with the Word first, and pray according to what God’s will is regarding that situation. That way our prayers are not in vain.
